  • Bizet Trompette et Tambour

  • Schubert Italian Overture
  • Tchaikovsky The Volunteer Fleet March
  • The Skye Boat Song

Course Cost, Booking and Applications

The course fee will be £90, which includes tuition and provision of practice parts for the principal pieces.  These will be e-mailed out in PDF form 1 – 2 weeks before the course.

Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided – but please note that lunch is NOT included. However, with the Lavender Tearooms across the road and Northumberland’s only thatched pub just next door, you won’t have to go far to find food! Alternatively, participants are welcome to bring a packed lunch.

To apply, e-mail putting ‘Autumn Breezes’ in the subject line and giving the following information: name, address, telephone number, instrument and approximate playing standard.  Making an application does not guarantee you a place – we will let you know if your application has been successful and give you payment instructions at that stage.

In the event of the Autumn Breezes course being cancelled (with or without notice) any fees paid would be refunded in full.  However, Blow & Blast accepts no liability for other costs incurred.  Players should be aware that they make their applications on this basis.

Should a participant have to cancel after paying the full course fee, any refund would be at the discretion of the tutor.

Instrument and personal safety

Applications should be made on the understanding that participants accept full responsibility for both their personal health and safety and that of their instrument throughout the weekend.

As a precaution, we would advise participants to supply an emergency contact number and to make us aware of any pre-existing medical conditions where prompt intervention just might be required.
